Last spring Disney began rolling out it mobile ordering service throughout the parks. It was widely popular and has had an even more expansive roll out, but the one thing had many disappointed was the inability to utilize mobile dining with the dining plan. We are so excited that has now changed. You can now use the dining plan in conjunction with mobile ordering.
How Mobile Ordering Works
You will need to have the My Disney Experience app. On the home screen of the app, you will click your avatar at the bottom of the screen. 
Then you will choose which restaurant you would like to order from. For this example, I am using Satu’li Canteen, because the food is great, and it is where we used mobile ordering first. 
Once you choose the restaurant, you will have a list of menu items to select from. I am selecting the Cheeseburger Pods, they are amazing you should definitely try them. 
On the next screen, it will give you options to add on and confirm your order. Once this is done you will go about your day. Go ride rides, walk around, see a show, or get to your FastPass. 
When you decide you are ready to eat, go back to your app and into your orders. Click on, “I’m Here, Prepare My Order” then have a seat. You are able to watch the status in the app, and once it is ready it will let you know. There is a special line for mobile orders you will get in. 
That’s it, your food is ready. You grab your tray and head back to your seat. I can’t convey in a written blog how convenient this is, and how thankful I am they have added the ability to use the dining plan. Seriously, I think that was the only downside to the system. Now I will show you how incredible these Cheeseburger pods look, and they taste as great as they look.
