MyMagic+ is taking your Walt Disney World Vacation to new levels. We wanted to give you a rundown on how to make the most of the MyMagic+ system. Take a look at some of the benefits of using the MyMagic+ system.
Online Planning:
Once your travel agent has booked your trip, you can go to the online system and link your reservations. If you are working with a travel professional who does your dining you should be able to see all of your dining reservations there as well, (if you don’t see it contact your travel professional so they can get them manually linked) if you are booking dining yourself you can do it right from that site. This is also where you will pre-select your FastPass+, more about that below.
MagicBands:
If you are staying on property you will be able to use the online system to customize your MagicBands, before you ever leave home. They will then be delivered to you about two weeks before you leave. If you do not customize or order magic bands the gray bands will be waiting for you at the front desk of your resort. The MagicBands take the place of your Key to The World, it is your room key, your dining credits, your tickets to the parks and the way to charge things to your room. If you are not staying on property you can purchase your MagicBands online or at the parks.
FastPass+:
With the MyMagic+ you will be able to reserve some of your must-do experiences online before you ever leave home. Once you get to the parks you will go to the FastPass line at the selected FastPass time. You will touch your MagicBand onto the console and will be all set. You will be able to use the My Disney Experience app, or the in-park kiosks to manage your FastPass selections. My Disney Experience App:
Everything you need while in the park is at your fingertips. Download the app for wait times, to manage your FastPass selections as well as have access to all your dining reservations. They are constantly adding new features like mobile ordering, which you can read more about here.
PhotoPass:
While in the parks you can take advantage of the professional photographers scattered throughout the park, just touch your MagicBand to the photographer’s handheld console and you will have access to your photos on your My Disney Experience account. In addition to that on select attractions, your photos (and sometimes even a video) will automatically show up in your account. If you purchased the memory maker as part of your package you can download all of your pictures, if you didn’t then you can choose which ones you would like to purchase.
