Some people will talk about PhotoPass and some people will talk about Memory Maker and many people use them interchangeably. I want to explain what each is and how to make the most out of your experience.
What is PhotoPass?
PhotoPass is the photography service Disney offers to all guests. The Disney PhotoPass photographers are stationed around all four theme parks, as well as some resorts, Disney Springs, some dining locations and more. To utilize their services you can use your MagicBand or they will give you a card. You can go online and view all the pictures taken for 45 days after.
PhotoPass Tips:
- PhotoPass Photographers will use your camera to take pictures just ask.
- If using a PhotoPass card, make sure to take a picture of the number on the card so if you lose the card you have access to the pictures.
- Make sure to view and select pictures before the 45 days are up.
What is Memory Maker?
Memory Maker is a package that allows you to download all pictures taken. It includes pictures from select dining locations, select attractions, even things like Jedi training are included. Make sure to ask your, Wish Upon Afar, travel professional for a list of tips to make your PhotoPass and Memory Maker experience even better.
Memory Maker Tips:
- Pre-purchase (at least 3 days in advance) Memory Maker and save $30. Pre-Pay cost $169.00. The regular cost is $199.00
- Includes ALL pictures taken by PhotoPass Photographers are included
- Select ride photos and videos are included
- Select restaurant photos are included
- Make sure you download all the photos before the 45 days are up.
