Hold on to your lightsabers we have news about Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. If you’re like me for some time now you have been tormented by the super far off idea that one day Disney would actually open the much talked about and over speculated Star Wars Land. Without a hard date on the project, it always seemed like waiting for Christmas….in February. Yeah sure it’s a nice dream but it is NEVER going to get here. Well, today the fine folks at Disney did us a solid and turned “one day” into a reality.

It’s hard to deny that the pairing of The Walt Disney Co. and The Star Wars franchise was destined to be a powerhouse and no pun intended a “force” to be reckoned with. (Honesty that was not meant to be as bad of a joke as it came out, but I’m going with it anyway). Now I’m just going to sit here a while some of you imagine kicking my teeth in for saying such a thing. However, regardless of what you think about what Disney and Star Wars have accomplished, and/or tragically ruined on the big screen.

Amazing Flyover of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Hold on to your lightsabers Star Wars fans. Disney posted this amazing video flyover of Star Wars : Galaxy’s Edge Construction going on at Disneyland in California and it does not look like it is going to disappoint. The Star Wars area is scheduled for an opening in 2019 for both Disneyland and Walt Disney World, although Disneyland is a little ahead in construction. Stay tuned for more updates and May the Force be with you.
